Oh dear lmao!
Whats with the shades though
I've seen a few silly (awesome) rigs like this - most recently a guy at an art event who had flash diffusers setup like wings on his back, perhaps 6 feet wide. He had a flash on a helmet too, and a giant sign on his chest that said "SMILE". While most of us try to blend in to get candid photos, there is something to be said for just looking super ridiculous so that people will approach you unbidden. He seemed to be getting lots of great portraits of people.
There is also the guy several years ago who mounted an umbrella diffuser to a big helmet and walked around in the park with it on. The portraits were all great because every one of them was of people laughing. Can't find the link now, but it was classic.
Steam punk, right?
How to mix work and pleasure (fun).
Looks like a cross between something from Dr Who, and an Austrian beer drinker in Lederhosen.
If he tried that in the UK he would be either mugged or arrested for causing a disturbance!
Remember this song?
"The future's so bright...I gotta wear SHADES" ;>)
maybe he listened to it, and then just went on from there to create the getup...
Thanks for giving me a good chuckle! :>)
Perfect camo for when you go to comic-con... or anime-expo.. or just about any sci-fi/fantasy convention.
He needs a suitable retro camera to go with that rig.
I got my shots because I engaged in conversation with the individual & only taking the shot at the end of the conversation.
If all goes well, I'll be dressed up as a "performer" at a future undetermined event.
I like this guy. I just know I do. Fabulous.
He's not concerned about a camera bag looking like a camera bag.
