How does E-M1's face detection work?

    (This is sort of an offshoot of another thread:

    For moving subject, the option for focusing is C-AF with panning or tracking. People say that E-M1's tracking is not quite up there yet. As a third option, I thought maybe you could use E-M1's face detection.

    When you pan your camera with the moving subject kept in the frame and shoot away in the face detection mode, how good is E-M1 at locking focus? If it works reasonably well, I think it can supplement its weak tracking. In some sense, it can be better than even C-AF with panning, because you don't have to worry about keeping the focus point locked on the subject all the time with face detection.

    (BTW, My GF1's face detection works very well on a stationary person facing me, but it doesn't work well on a moving person. It sometimes locks focus on the clothes that the person is wearing, rather than the face.)
