How can I stop Aperture/Lightroom respecting aspect info in RAW file?

I recently shot a batch of images with my E-P3 in 3:2 aspect (idiot that I am). I know the raw files include the entire 4:3 image because when I open them in Olympus Viewer 2, the whole image is available but both Lightroom and Aperture automatically crop the image to 3:2.

I can't work out whether it is possible to stop either or both from doing this.

It would be very helpful to have the entire image available in either Aperture or Lightroom to spare me the agony of developing this batch in OV2.

Any clues? Many thanks in advance for your advice.

You are a genius and a gentleman!!!

It took a bit of clueless trial and error but I got there in the end. 320 sadly deprived 3/2 images are now nicely uploaded to Aperture with all their 4/3 glory.

Thank you very much Aegon. :bravo-009:
