Timelapse project that we created to capture the beautiful side of Hong Kong. [ame=http://vimeo.com/35818363]Hong Kong Accelerate on Vimeo[/ame] Enjoy =)
Wow this is very cool! Looking on the Vimeo page though it says it is shot with Canon, not m4/3? I was going to guess E-P3 with 7-14mm, because of all the UWA and tilt shift. How did you do the shutter actuation?
Welcome here. I loved the video, it held my concentration the whole time. Very clever use of tilt shift videography. My favourite was when the camera panned over the harbour as the city sparked into life as darkness fell.
Hi, yes =) I used 5D Mark 2 for the whole video. Dynamic Perception Dolly was used for the pan shots and normal shutter release for the static one. Some parts of it I used DP dolly combined with Merlin Head =) Glad you liked it, thanks again.
Some great locations there. Beautifully portrayed. Timelapse used to great effect with the mini-busses in CWB and rather nice to see the Umbrella Man up toward the midlevels too. Thanks for posting.
Looking at this again, it seems like there are a lot of blocky video compression artifacts. I know Vimeo can do a lot better on my connection. I'm no video expert, but maybe it could be re-uploaded differently or something?
