This is shot wide open. Just look at the sharpness! Then look at the shallow DOF. The eyes are sharp, but the eyebrows and forehead are already starting to become out of focused! My images feel like it's been shot with a full-frame camera in regards to quality especially at 100% zoom.

And the Nikon 70-200mm is about as sharp as the Olympus 75mm f/1.8.

If you are getting the Speedbooster, invest in the Sigma 85mm and 45mm f/1.4!

Her eyes, by the way, are so sharp that I had to clone out her contact lenses! I never had to do that before, lol =D

Thanks! I used the GH3. I definitely see a lot more resolution and fine details than even the Olympus 75mm when using the Sigma prime!

    The new Nikon G adapter. I tried it with the Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8, the 70-200mm f/2.8, Nikon 50mm f/1.8G, the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 and the Sigma 85mm f/1.4.

By far my favorite are the two Sigma lenses. I didn't get to play with them that much, but man they are amazing on the GH3!

    Great size and balance, too.

Can you post a pic of the whole camera setup? Just curious how it all looks. If it's not too much trouble of course.

Wow, that's big! The Sigma looks very sharp. Perhaps too much so for portraits without retouching!

  11. She is wearing her contact lens?

    Impressive!

The retouching looks good, just the forehead needs a bit more work IMO. You did a fine job in removing the acne, but the forehead has a blocky gradient to it now.
