Hi all, another new guy being drawn by M43!

I have just sold my Leica Digilux 2 setup, loved the glass but the electronics were getting a little dated ...but been a fantastic 6 years of use.

I have held off getting a DSLR as the size is just too big for me and have been waiting for an affordable, portable replacement.

My dilemma at the moment is if to go down the manual glass route or just the kit + 20mm pana?

Been reading lots here and hope to contribute a little.

I'd suggest go with the kit + 20 mm lens
And welcome to the forum

Hello and welcome - the 20mm has a place in every kit imho.

Well I was set on a PL1, then started thinking about a P2 (shutter speed and styling), now am considering the G2 as I saw it in a shop and it is not too big.

I will get some quality shop time soon and assess them all in my hand, not an easy choice and the Olly jpegs are appealing to the lazy side of me (having spent 6 years on the raw workflow ride).

Welcome! I am partial to the E-PL1 but I tried the GF1 with 20mm and it is very good too.
