Hey folks I am a new member from Canada's wet and cloudy west coast. I went in to buy a Nikon P7000 and fell in love (relatively speaking) with a clearance Panny G10. I like it so much I am debating selling my pentax glass to get more lenses.
Welcome to the forum Hi Welcome aboard! Always good to collect another Canadian member. Enjoy your stay and have fun. Plenty of knowledgable folks here to answer your questions and help out. Cheers from New England, Alan
Welcome to the forum! I'm also from Canada. What kind of Pentax glass do you have? Have you thought of getting a Pentax to Micro Four-Thirds adapter (Or maybe a Pentax to Four-Thirds plus a Four-Thirds to Micro Four-Thirds)?
Welcome too, from Oz Hi and welcome. I just love my G1, especially the articulated screen. Just recently photographed some camelias in our garden. Some of the best blooms were high up, and twisting the screen so I could use the camera above my head was a big help. Perhaps keep your pentax glass and buy a mu43/pentax adaptor. Legacy lenses only work in apeture prioritory or manual modes for exposure, and manual focus. So there not real fast to use, but can be fun on some subjects. Cheers DUD
I'm going to keep my manual focus pentax glass and probably unload the DA and FA lenses except for the FA 50 1.4, I just love that one.
