Being Oly for decades now, I had to try the µ4/3 with an E-P1. I was very glad to.

I sold my old µ14-42 to buy a µ9-18mm and a µ14-150mm, very versatile for someone loving mountains like me. Now I completed my collection with two hoods. I didn't try it fully yet as I took my 14-54mm or the 35mm with the MMF-1 adapter (a heavy combo, God...) the last fall up to the mountain.

There's a full retrospective of the year 2010 using a PEN, it's not a compact, it's not a reflex...

I can smell the sunscreen and sweat in your pictures. I have spent a great deal of time in the Japanese alps. Welcome.

The E-P1 is a great mountain camera.

Welcome and thanks for sharing

Really great photos--you are lucky to live in such a scenic surrounding. Nice to have another long-time Oly user on board.

Fred, another welcome!

I hope you'll share some of your photographs with us in the image threads here. Flickr makes it quite easy. There's a link within the FAQ sticky. And if you'd like, you can add your Flickr link to your signature line via your profile.

Although I've never had the chance to use that 14-150 zoom, I've seen the results and they've been great. I always did love the 9-18mm.

Very glad to have you here, Fred!
