    Just a quick hello!
I have an OMD and an EP-3. Mainly I'm trying to master macro at the moment, but building the courage to do some street photography. I have the body cap lens on order, and I'm hoping the PEN plus body cap will make an unobtrusive combination. Sorry, not such a quick hello!

G'day ozfoz. Good to see another Aussie on here. For macro photos I recommend the new 60mm macro lens & am loving it. I've just posted a thread that shows a few photos & how nice the lens is here. https://www.mu-43.com/f54/unintended-swim-37637/

    Welcome

Two great cameras, be sure to post some Body cap lens photos when you get it.

There are some great macro togs on here, who I'm sure will help with any Q's you have.

    G'day Ross,

    Nice macro shots/story!
Yes, I've been looking at the 60mm lens, but it might have to wait a couple of months.

Our dog bowl doesn't seem to catch insects, so maybe I should put a few more around the place.

My late father used to make the odd classical guitar, by the way.

    Anyway, thanks for the welcome,

    Cheers,
David (but this is Oz, so everyone calls me Dave)

    Thanks Savvy,
Happy to post some body cap shots- never done street photography before so hope I get something worth posting. Bit hot out there right now- hope the cap arrives with a cool change!

    Cheers,
    Dave

Welcome! Still waiting for my body cap lens, but it appears to be a great lens for street photography.

    Oh, sorry :I
I thought it was a humorous comment about the amount of information I "vended" (a term one of my friends came up with, because supposedly they'd mention a topic, and it was like putting a coin into a vending machine, and out came the words!)
I didn't know about the website, thought I'd come up with something original based on my surname :I
However, and Im still being serious here, I would like to own a Forrester at some stage in the future! I nearly got one a couple of years ago, but couldn't afford one with a low enough mileage.
Again, sorry for mid-interpreting your question.
    Cheers,
    Dave

no need to apologise, it was a strange question out of the blue . I know of at least 2 pro photographers who drive Foresters, my wedding photographer was one.

    No worries Lefty.
Just looked at the time- getting late over here on the East coast so I'm off now.
Thanks all for making me feel welcome,

Thanks Dave. Don't forget the Olympus 20% cashback for this lens (& some other M4/3's lenses) stops at the end of January. I paid $533 (from CamBuy) for mine & after cashback will only cost me $426. Not a bad buy, eh?
