Hexanon 24/2.8

    Is it just me or does this lens have a really wonderful quality to it? I couldn't possibly articulate what it is but I find they have a look that I really like. They look..."velvety" for lack of a better term (and not in an Elvis kind of way).

    24/2.8 vs 28/2.8

    Dixeyk, Velvet was the thought that came to my mind too. Did you see original Inlaws with Peter Falk? There is a good velvet scene in it. That is a sweet lens. I need to shoot closeups with the 28/2.8 to see how it stacks up to your lens. Do you know the aperture you used?

    I shot the Apple blossom at 5.6. I can't recall what the magnolia was shot at.

    Thank you. I have much work onschedule fo rthe weekend, but if I can find a minute I'll try a similar shot, peonies are in bloom now.
