    Hello,
I found out something weird that I can't understand. When I reset all the setting on my OMD-EM5 MarkII, I am able to use the digital tele-converter while filming in video mode.
However, as soon as I start assigning any other button to something else (i don't even change the location of the tele-converter button) I loose that the ability to use it in video mode.
anyone else have the same issue?

Perhaps you are using a filter/special effect whilst in video mode? The digital teleconverter doesn't work with those

What do you mean by filter? I am not in ART mode and Movie effect are OFF and I am in P mode.
can you use the digital zoom while using movie mode?

You can apply filters directly to the content you are recording (eg sepia, black and white, vintage, ...)
And yes, you can use it in movie mode (which is what you referred to in your original post right?)

There's a couple of other things that prevent use of the digital teleconvertor (multiple exposure is one of them for example (those apply to photo mode, not video mode)), but i'd have to look them up

I am able to use the digital teleconvertor just fine in movie mode using the fn2 button, however, i can't seem to change to which button it is assigned though (it's greyed out on fn2)

Update: i think i've found your problem, the digital teleconverter is considered an effect itself, so if you have "movie effect" turned off under the movie settings, it won't work ;)
