help needed

Hi,
one of my shots with the Olympus 2.8/60 macro shows strong borders around the petals.
Where do these come from? I tried to get rid of them with reduction of CA ... without success.

Thanks for the quick response, Loren.
Yes, I did some editing because there was noise in the photo and it was a bit underexposed.
Here's the original in comparison with nothing processed at all.
The strange thing for me is that this shows only in those parts that are in the background (out of focus).

Looks to me like there is pretty strong borders around the flower edges to begin with and what ever processing must of boosting the contrast of those edges vs the rest of the petals making them a bit stronger? Also you can see there is a pretty definite color shift from the more natural looking purple flower color to a definitely blue. Perhaps the color shift might also of played a role in the edges?
