Help me identify this lens - Albinar

    I bought this at a Goodwill on a whim, then bought what I thought was the right adapter and it didn't fit. What mount is this? I bought a Milolta MD adapter and it didn't fit.

    The PK on the mount says Pentax K mount to me.

    Yep, I'd guess Pentax K as well. Take a look at the actual bayonet on yours and see if you can compare it to known Pentax K lenses on the internet. That's how I've identified a few mystery mounts myself.

    The "MC" probably just stands for multicoated, rather than denoting Minolta MC compatibility.

    Yea in retrospect that's a much smarter way to interpret the markings. Haha thanks for the help.

    Haha, it happens. I once bought a 55mm-52mm step-down ring for a macro lens that said 55mm on the front ring, when in fact that was just the (duh!) focal length. It needed a 62mm filter thread...
