I'm traveling with my Gh2 and somehow my settings were wiped clean.

I only use EVL and it doesn't go to sleep. I burned through 3 fully charged batteries in perhaps 4 hrs after only 105 shots no flash.

It's been too long since I set up too remember how to save settings. So, after I select my preferences in all menus, how do I save after making my selections.

    Thank you.

    Desperate in NYC.

I just hit the central 'Menue/Set' button to save each individual setting, if that helps.

Thanks Dave. I'll give that a try. Maybe I've been selecting everything first then trying a single save.

    Just turn it off!

The power save auto off feature will reduce your power consumption, but in order to really remove all your battery concerns why don't you just turn the camera off between shots?

I do this and have no problems getting 500+ shots per battery w/o any effort.
