I don't own a MFT camera....but that will change when UPS delivers my GX7 today.

I'm glad to have found this forum and it's already been quite helpful in making my decision to buy this camera.

GX7 is an outstanding camera that instantly converted me over from a long time Canon SLR fan. I'm positive you will enjoy it!

Thanks for the kind welcomes everyone! Love the GX7 so far. It arrived late last evening. Still getting through the 380 page manual, setting up function buttons, etc.

    Welcome to the forum.

We are here to help make it seem like you should buy every lens available or a more expensive alternative if available. Hold on tight to your wallet and enjoy..

PS: I recommend the Panasonic 12-35/2.8.

    Thanks NB.

I'm from the less is more camp, especially for this camera. My plan is currently something like this:

Stage 1: Use the 14-42 kit lens while I get the camera sorted.

Stage 2: Pick up 2 or 3 small primes and start shooting away.

I'm sure you'll get the hang of your new camera in no time. Finding which lens(es) suit you best well, that's where your money will end up going.
