Hi All,

Great to find this resource. My name is James Gehrt. I am photographer and Digitization Coordinator at Mount Holyoke College. I have been carrying a camera with me for the past 25 years. In college, I started in large format black and white, and slowly moved to smaller range finder cameras. I loved the Contax G1 with a 35mm. It wasn't until the Lumix GF1 came along that I felt a replacement was within reach. I moved to the GX1 and now recently to the GX7. Great price point, great quality and nice feel and size. Even though I shoot digital the final image is in b/w. Feel free to check out some of my work at the following links.

I am also involved in the history of photography, preservation, re-photography and digitization. Here is a blog that I keep regarding those matters.

Thanks for looking at my work, and I look forward to seeing more of yours.

Take care,
