Hello! I'm new to photography in general. Went to buy a camera other than a point and shoot, convinced I wanted an slr so I could start to take really good photos. Found slrs to be physically cumbersome and outdated in that respect.(If I'm not going to bring it with me, what good is it?)

Bought a panasonic G5 and having so much fun learning! Using 14-45, 45-200 and 25 /1.4.

Present greatest challenge is action photography in low light. Hoping to find a lens that won't break the bank and can help my pathetic attempts.

My search to learn about adapting older lenses brought me here. My dad just came across and gave me his old Konica T3 and two lenses and I'm so excited! - the 135/3.2 and the 50/ 1.7 (still in the original box!)

    Great to be here!!

Welcome! Adapted lenses can be a lot of fun and provide a great entry point to :43:. I started with a number of wonderful old lenses and slowly purchased some new primes. Have fun!
