Hi all! Just got an Olympus E-PL5 with 14-42 kit lens. Still getting acquainted with it and getting all the settings tweaked. So far I've noticed the IQ is much better than my point-and-shoot, but not quite as good as my Canon 60D, but that is expected.

The AF speed and accuracy is great! Really like the tilting touchscreen. I also like the small size and portability.

Thanks for all the helpful info in this forum. Cheers!

Welcome. The beauty of the E-PL5 (and other mu43) is that they are close to compact size and close to DSLR IQ. I found I was just more likely to take it with me.

    A second hello from Nebraska!

How ironic! I've been a fly on the wall lately hunting for some lenses, and decided that I'd better represent! So hello mu43 world from Grand Island, Nebraska! I've been an owner of a Oly e-pl1 since May of 2010. While I'd love to own a Om-D or a PL5, I've been building up my lens arsenal with some quality legacy glass.
