    Hi All

I am a new member . I haven't touch photography as a hobbie since my old
Nikon FM and Cannon AE1 days with film.( been using simple Digital compacts)

But after reading a lot on this forum I decided to join as I can see the weight
and size difference of the DSLRs.

Hopefully I can buy a E-pl1 or something similar on the cheap to get back into
    it again.

Love the landscape photos which has been achieved with the micro four thirds. !

    Welcome to the Forum!

    Hello David,

We have a very strong Aussie contingent.

I sure hope you can find your way to ยต43 kit soon. Certainly the E-P1, and the G1 series are available at very reasonable prices these days.

    Cheers from NEw England, Alan

    Hey, welcome to the fun!

Even if you don't yet have a m4/3 camera, share your images, join the discussion and ask questions!

There are some very good compacts that get nice pictures, so join in.

    Warm welcome (cold climate)

It's cold here in Drouin, but the welcome is warm to another "Aussie". Do you still have lenses from your AE-1 days. I found mine and now use them with my G1 & GF-1. Great fun, and this is a great forum. Soon to depart on a round Oz trip so I'll be posting lots of landscapes and seascapes.

I am from Sydney. UNfortunately someone broke into my house and stole my SLR cameras.
Also my Nikon Fm and gear as well. Cant wait till I pickup something. I am keeping a eye
out on the sales forum as well.

good news. I just found my old Nikon 801 with a 20mm 2.8 Nikkor lens. I bought this with the insurance payout years ago. I wonder whether I should try and use this with a adaptor.
So I am only up for a body in four thirds.
