    Hi guys,

Noob in MFT world. I need an advice regarding entering lens focal length on E-M5. I have a mint Helios M-44-4 and the appropriate adapter.

The Helios FL is 58mm and I cannot see an option to select such a FL in IS->Info setting. The closest option to enter is 55mm and then it skips to 65mm.

Is there someway to change it to 58 somehow? Or is it OK to leave it at 55 or perhaps go to 65? I can't get my head around it.

Also, when I remount this lens, do I have to go to thru menu IS-> Info again? I can see the 55mm (which I use now) sitting there grayed out. It is my only legacy lens (I'm looking at some nice Takumars though), so I assume unless I use another legacy lens with FL different than 55mm I can leave it like that.

I see a thread with Helios pics, so there definitively are users around.

Your help would be much appreciated.

Yes, 55mm is fine. Yes, it will keep your last used legacy lens setting when you have an auto lens mounted, retaining it for when you next mount a manual lens. You're doing it right, so keep on keeping on. ;)
