I was given a Hanimex 135mm lens that has a M42 mount. It was clean and tidy all over including the optics. It is made of metal with a small lens hood and accepts 52mm filters. Focusing is nice and smooth, but the aperture ring is very close to the mount, I would say too close and feels a bit delicate. A little research on the web showed that a few people own this lens with the aperture ring not working, though it is easily fixable. I have seen these lenses on ebay for £/$10.00.
anyway, here is the picture of this lens and the pictures it can take.

The lens has very good color rendition and it looks like circular broken. Nice find.

This is interesting. Back in 2004 I had a hipsterish girlfriend who wanted film SLR. So I prowled the pawnshops looking for one. Eventually I found a bag deal with two bodies and three lenses. I gave the working body (can't remember what it was) to her and kept an old Sears TLS M42 mount and a 50mm f2 and a 135 Haminex. Considerably older than yours.

Now that I have a m43 camera, I plan to get an adaptor and try the lenses out. Would the Sears/Ricoh 50 be any good?
