I'd guess M42 but it's hard to tell from the pictures. Is it a threaded mount? I can see some thread like stuff in the glass that make me suspect there may be some fungus in there. It could just be small scratches reflecting your flash.

Definitely not M42. Perhaps PK mount.

Think that's the flash bringing out the small scratches. Hav'nt a clue what adapter I would need to fit it to my GF2

Is it a threaded or bayonet mount?

Look near the lens mount, maybe it says something like "MC/MD", "N-AI", "PK" or similar. Also it helps to look for the position of the largest opening at the aperture ring.: left for Canon, Minolta, Leica, right for Nikon, Pentax, Olympus mounts.

Ta, says MC on lens and largest aperture is to the right

I have this same lens in Nikon F mount{yours is not F! that I am sure of}. Anyway there is no marking anyplace on mine as to what it fits! Mine says "MC" on the lens front too.

Your's has three tabs but that is very common. What is the diameter of the mount?

    MC stands for multi-coated.

    A ruler can help. ;)

This is proving to be more difficult than I first imagined. Gonna just gaffa tape it on the camera :)

You can't just tape it to the body! The backspace would be too close!

The easiest way to measure would be with calipers. It should be the size minus the tabs.

  16. Looks like it has a bit of fungus around the rear element.

I think it's a Pentax K mount, but whether I'm I sure enough to spend £25 on an adapter is another matter :)

Maybe post some angle view shots of the lens mount so we can see more detail.
