Hand Crafted Magnifier Hood

    I shoot an ep1, and while I believe it's "the best darn Point and Shoot" ever made it does have some, er, um, 'limitations'. Like the shooting position; thrust your arms out, lift your head to get your bifocals in position and then try to hold the camera steady with the MF assit on. Or just try to see the screen in the sun. You can throw money at the problem, like $75 magnifier hoods, or a 'hasselblad waist finder' with ep1 adaptor for $400, but I always look at these situations as an excuse to get creative. Here's what I came up with:
