Just picked up the new H&Y Magnetic Filter Holder for the M.Zuiko 7-14mm F2.8 from PhotoSphereSg in Singapore [https://photospheresg.com/collections/h-y-filters-system]. This product is so simple, you wondered why nobody has ever done this before.

The holder is all metallic and fit perfectly to the lens by using a clamp with foam gasket around and in the front, there are four teeth that will go into the petal lens hood of the lens.

If you already have a 100mm filter system, you can use your existing filters by just putting the magnetic frame around your filters.

To use the filter you just put it onto the holder.

Technically, you can stack as many filters as you want, however, for the 7-14mm I was able to use it up to 3 filters without any vignette. Furthermore, when you are using a graduated filter you can turn the filter up to about 40º and still not get any vignette.

Here is a shot using 3 filters stacking together ND 1.5 (5 stops), ND 0.9 (3 Stops) and GND 0.5 Reversed

Here is an extreme case just to demonstrate how far you can turn the filter

As I said if you already have a system, you can get the add on rails to switch with the one you have already to render it magnetic so you can use your other lens with your old holder with the magnetic framed filter

Here with my Nisi V5 Pro

I have received it! It's awesome! Very good fit and finish. Very easy to take on and off. I'm glad that I held off buying any other solutions that all seemed to have some type of annoying drawback. I love the magnetic filters as well.

Nam,

I am interested in the H&Y magnetic filter system but currently have the Nisi V5 Pro holder shown in the image you posted above. How did you convert it to adapt to hold the H&Y magnetic filter frames.

They sell the rails that are magnetic that you replace with the V5 Pro rails.

For the 7-14mm F2.8 your have to buy the holder that replace the V5 Pro holder itself.

I am looking at purchasing this system. Do I need to order anything special to fit on my 12-40 and 40-150 lenses?
