trying to figure out which value of the aperture is the best for image sharpness. The len is sort of short-sighted probably it excels at close-up shooting rather than landscape shooting.

I use this lens, a lot.
I find it is excellent at f4, 3 or 5 exposure bracketed shots in RAW, open Affinity and let it HDR merge the images. Then ask it to sharpen the pic. Voila! Usually a wicked super exposed and sharpened pic. Close focus, far focused, it doesn’t matter.
well that’s how I roll with it. A very good lens for me. Probably my best, and so far, my fav M4/3 lens.

Tens of thousands Siberian Gulls cluster in the vicinity of water bodies in Kunming City Yunnan Province of China since 1998. Can't imagine those little birds had covered nearly 10 thousand miles of immigration in Sept. & Oct. and they are gonna fly back in March of the following year. They immigrate once a year, since 1998. A Kunming municipal agency even founded to care and protect these "immigrants" as they have already been a part of life of Kunming citizens.
