I'm new to the mu-43 world, was wondering why when I attach the Rokinon 7.5 to the GX1 I get the error message "Lens not found" on the screen? I'm able to shoot if I turn on the ability to shoot with out a lens. I assume it has to do with those pins on the lens. =]

You answered your own question. One must enable shoot without lens to use manual focus lenses that do not communicate with the camera body whatsoever.

The Rokinon, like adapted "legacy" lenses, does not have a chip in it to tell the camera what aperture it is set to. Consequently you'll need to leave the "shoot without lens" feature on to shoot with it.

Practically speaking, this affects little. The Panasonic bodies don't have image stabilization in-body, so all you lose is the ability to record the aperture in EXIF data (and a darker viewfinder image, if you're stopping down much).
