    Hi All,

Please can any GX1 users comment on the On /Off switch.

Mine seems hard to move (was like this from new) and a bit woolly in operation.

    Cheers,
    Arnold

Normal on mine. Definitely a Click, not a slide. Not as emphatic as on my GH3, but more like the GH2 I had until recently.

Hard to move? Meaning a firm push, but not 'difficult' or 'rough'?

I have three GX1s, they are all essentially the same, and I like the firm push needed to turn on/off the camera. The switch seems positive and unlikely to be changed unintentionally.

Not sure what woolly means, but mine requires a bit of pressure at first but once past the initial resistance that keeps it in place it moves smoothly and easily and has a distinct click when it stops.

yeah I'd go along with others - firmish but not overly stiff

Mine is also firm and I was wondering if it was my camera or if I just had weak thumbs.
