I'm still exploring this camera and seem to be having issues focusing on my "subject." I have the camera set to auto focus (using Aperture Priority mode) and expect to see objects in the center of my screen in focus. However, that's not what's happening.
When I press the shutter button half way I see the green rectangles, which I assume will be the areas in focus. If that's the case, is there a way of changing the location of those rectangles?
Any other factors to consider in terms of focus?

    Hi Phil

Have you enabled the touch screen? If so, then you can change the focus points by touching the area where you want to focus.

If it's like a GF3 (and I assume it's at least similar) you can choose the kind of focusing from the quick menu. The GF3 has pinpoint, 1 area, 23/multi area, tracking and face detect. It sounds like you have multi-area selected at the moment.
