This lens sounds just what I'd like, but the lack of IS when paired with a GX1 is concerning.
Does anyone have experience with this combo?

    Thank you.

I've had (2) 14-54mkII's. You'll be fine in good light because of fast shutter speeds. In low light, you might have a problem on the longer end, especially with no EVF. It is harder to steady your camera at arms length. Also, that's a big lens on a small body. You'll need two hands a lot of the time. Oh, don't forget about the adapter.

    Thanks for the input.
I'd like to buy this lens for its IQ, but also speed, which would be especially useful in low light. But it sounds like the lack of IS may negate any speed advantage if the pictures are blurry.
I guess I'll have to pass on this lens then. :(

Ironically, these days a used OMD+14-54mm combo would cost me the same as Panasonic 12-35mm lens. Crazy.
I guess getting m43 with a Panasonic body wasn't the smartest way to go given their excellent, but expensive lens lineup.
