should have removed the sign, 23 seated and 12 standing, does not add up to the answer though,
Perhaps its the route number?
I think I have all three answers, but will wait until tomorrow to see what others come up with.

Lisbon (figured that out from the language and the pic of the cathedral)

@barry13 thats the place. We came across it while walking to the castle (2017)... on a winding little street and like most people we sat outside . It wasn’t until we went in to pay the bill that we caught this shot! Over to you, Barry!

In the US... large cannon, maybe Civil War vintage, statue with long musket, perhaps on the eastern seaboard, possibly Virginia or the Carolinas?

Taken at about 6 in the morning in late August so you are facing about due east with the sunrise behind the mountain.
So maybe taken from one of the islands San Juan, Lopez or Orcas?
