Here's an image with in focus subject and out of focus background that should show off how this zoom feature works.

    guess?
I prefer my hi-res straight. :) Is there a way to toggle the magnifier? Now I can't right-click to see the exif.
    (looks like Scottish weather alright)

If you click on the wording "Greyfriar's Bobby, Edinburgh" instead of the pic it will take you to Flcker and the exif info. Obviously, if you keep the cursor off of the pic, it comes through straight.

Amin, I take it that the amount of magnification is directly related to the size of the original image? For example, with a larger image the loupe shows more magnification than it does with a smaller image? As contrasted with all images displaying the same magnification?

    Thanks,
    David

Two more time consuming steps out here at the end of a rusty wire :) FxIF does it with a right click.

@dornblaser@dornblaser - the loupe shows 100% view. So amount of magnification will depend on current % view. If viewing fullscreen on a very high-res display, it may not show much difference unless the image dimensions are extremely large.
