    Greetings everyone!

Just bought myself an Olympus PEN E-PM1 for everyday photography when my Canon 60D is too heavy to lug around.

Bought the PEN as a factory refurbished unit from Cameta Camera for $329. Includes a 90day Olympus warranty and a full 1 year warranty from the seller. Looks just like a brand new camera. Great value and would recommend the deal to anyone!

    Max.

Welcome max .. I know the feeling after lugging a Canon 5D MKII .. It is an excellent camera and you will have lots of fun with it.

Personally, I find factory refurb stuff a steal plus they come with a warranty. Good job on finding the E-PM1 at a $70 discount. What's your wish list for a lens(es)?

Hi Max- Welcome. It's good to scale down. THe PEN is a great camera and your shoulder will thank you later.
It's true what they say: SIZE REALLY DOESNT MATTER.

No plans for lenses, although I would like to get an adopter to use the EOS lenses. Last week the E-PM1 was going for $499 on Amazon, I see the prices have dropped to $399 now.

The problem using EOS lenses is the manipulation of the aperture is a pita.

Just discovered my PEN has the date reset issue. GRRR... annoying... Looks like it will be going back

Two cameras and two weeks later, finally got a proper working copy. Also bought a Flipbac grip and Aki-Asahi skin.
