    After fiddling around with cameras and lenses it's time for me again to really try to make pictures. I've always been drawn to trees and water and I'm now looking for tree pictures without sky in them, so that the various shades and colours have to make the picture. Here's an attempt at this, made this evening.

    Nice. Is this what you were talking about? I like the composition and mood, nice subtle tones. Very soothing scene.

    Thank you all for the nice comments, it really encourages me to go on with this project knowing some of my fellow photographers found the image attractive.
    Alan, place your bets... Yes, it was taken with a Minolta, an MD 100/2.5 in this case, and even then it's quite heavily cropped. For this kind of subjects I tend to use telephoto now, at least 50mm.
