I just got my E-M1 back from service, and I'm impressed. I cracked the LCD, the EVF had green blobs in it, and dirt on the sensor. The rubber piece around the rear controls came off, and the rubber eye cup was loose. They replaced the EVF and circuit board, LCD, rear dial encoder (?), rubber eyepiece, cleaned the sensor and updated FW to 4.0: all for 200 CDN. This is a refurbished camera. It even looks cleaner than when I bought it used from this site. Their comments was "well used". Pretty cool...

They are no doubt working very hard to keep their Canadian customers happy; the last price increase at the end of June hurt their sales and the further deterioration of the CDN$$ means their service people probably have fewer cameras coming in for service.

I was planning on buying a 12-40, but with the US exchange, it's become very expensive. A used 12-40 is about the cost of a new one last year. Canadians selling gear are asking for USD. Kinda put a crimp in my buying
