I found this in a local antique store last week for $5.00. I ordered a c-mount adapter from ebay and it arrived today.

I can't find anything about this lens. The Graf lens company was bought in 1936, so it's older than that, but otherwise I come up with very little.

Graf was famous for it's soft focus lenses... this appears to be one of them.

    gracie-graf75-2.

And here is the lens mounted on my E-P1.

    graf75.

Was it like that when you got it? Mine still seems to have most of the black coating on it.
I saw your post on another forum concerning this, and that is the only thing I see on the lens. Any idea when they were made or how many?

Yep, got it this way. Do you happen to have a serial number or something else engraved on that barrel? Mine has on that stepped brass front serial# 10869 engraved and Graf-Telephoto 75mm F4.5. Hard to read at times...

I have a feeling someone long ago painted parts of your lens black.

My s/n is 10728. Says the same thing as yours, also "patent applied for". I checked the US Patent website but they don't allow text searches before 1975.
