Didnt need to preorder or wait a long time to get my hands on a OM! I can see what all the hype is about though!

been thinking about tackling the foam rot issue in the viewfinder. Found some awesome web resources.

ran some 400 superia in it as a test roll. will post some pics up soon on some more walk arounds in busan.

At least we know what the prism on the top does!

    A real old stalwart

You've got a beautiful baby there. You're right about checking the foam as soon as possible, if there's still some, it will rot and tarnish the prism, no doubt about that. It's just a matter of "when".

Looks just like mine. I always loved the black bodied OMs, though I've owned the chrome too. I still run film through it and an ancient Leica now and then, and have 5 rolls of HP-5 I need to develop as soon as I buy more chemistry.

Silver! It still holds magic for me.

And the best part is that the manual is actually readable by normal people!

You need it to learn how to rewind the film ; the lock is placed on the front unlike most (if not all) 35mm SLR where the lock is on the bottom plate.

    Cheers,
