Goombay Festival Marchers

    Taken with E-PL1 and Panasonic 45-200 lens, I used just the center focus box with the "focus lock and recompose" method to get my pictures.

    Biggest problem was bystanders getting the way of my shots, many of which were lost because of intruding body parts.

    This lens was on a used body I recently bought and I hadn't changed the internal sharpening down to -2 from the normal zero, so when I resized down the jpg image, shown here, I didn't apply any sharpening.

    I love this lens and jpgs from the E-PL1 - hardly ever work on the raw images, which I also save, because the jpgs are so good.

    In this picture I had to blur the background because it was too intrusive - and I sure woudl love to see reasonably priced zoom lenses with larger maximum apertures for better blurrier backgrounds:
