    Dear David,

As you may have heard, Nik Software was recently acquired by Google Inc. We are very excited about the future and continuing to deliver amazing photographic editing tools and technologies to photographers.

Our number one commitment has always been to you, our valued customers. During this transition we want to provide you with the same level of service that we have offered in the past. In order to continue to be eligible for support, we have to transfer your customer records (for example, registration and purchase information) from Nik to our new offices at Google. The transfer will happen on December 1st and once your data has been moved to Google, it will be subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

By transferring your customer information, you may receive information regarding Nik and Google products, depending if you had opted into receiving that type of information in the past from Nik Software. You will be able to change your communication preferences at any time by sending us an email through our contact page.

If you do not want your data to be transferred, please send us an email by clicking here. If this link doesn't work, please send an email to TransferOptOut@niksoftware.com and list any email addresses that you would like to prevent from being transferred. Please note, only customers that transfer their customer information to Google will be eligible for support for their Nik Software products.

If you have any questions, please contact us through www.niksoftware.com/contact.

Thank you for your support, we look forward to continuing to providing you new and amazing photographic tools.

    Best regards,

    The Nik Software Team
