I'm a little hesitant about upgrading m43 bodies as they seem to not hold their value. I mean, I don't think ppl should buy cameras to get a good return, but I was pretty bummed with how my previous body plummeted. That said, I've been hunting for a good price on an OMD. My friend is offering up his black one (very low shutter count) for $500 and he's including an EPL-1 body with the deal. Does that seem reasonable? No lens of course. Thanks!

$500 is a steal. They are $700-750 currently, and they'll drop once the EM6 gets more solid in it's rumors, but I can't imagine they'll go below $500 for quite some time (i.e. a year or more)

Thanks, well that's good to hear. I figured $500 had to be a pretty good price. Plus, I could sell the EPL-1 for maybe $80-100, right, offsetting the cost a bit? So that's like an OMD for $400.

I'm just a little unsure about the camera, which is what has held me back from dropping the $800+- I'm seeing on the forum.

$800 is a lot for a camera, I agree. But the OMD is a massive step up from the EPL1. You'll be beside yourself with joy, lol.

I'll have an EP1 body and an EPL1 body. Are these worth anything anymore on the forum? I'd like to sell one to cover some of the damage.

I wouldn't expect to net more than $50-100 after shipping and paypal fees for an EP1 or EPL1.

I'd think about offering up my body for an amount higher than that, BUT just not to my brother. Maybe a good-looking stranger who'll have no way of knowing my name.

That is an amazing price for the OMD! My first question is why so cheap?

if you have both bodies, then sell one, but for $50-100, you might as well keep one body and have P14 on it all the time (for a small portable wide angle).
