Excellent read and superb images from the GF1, just goes to show what m4/3 is capable of in the right hands.

I'm a little surprised that David didn't consider the G1 or GH1 - if you're going to take a tripod, and looking for the best possible IQ out of the camera for landscapes... these bodies are more suited to tripod use (articulating LCD is invaluable for composing on a tripod) and take a 4/3rds adapter + ZD 11-22 and you've got a killer landscape cam.

The GH1 will give arguably more dynamic range at base ISO, and the G1 is damned good value right now (since it's been discontinued)

Cheers

Tend to agree Brian that the kit you suggest would be awesome, mine will consist of G1 (when I actually open it) 4/3rds adapter and 9/18, he certainly sings the praises of the GF1

Phil, the ZD 9-18mm f4-5.6 could be an even better choice for the G1 - it will support CDAF and is lighter + wider... but I have a soft spot for the ZD 11-22mm f2.8-3.5

E-3 + ZD 11-22
1/3s f/6.3 at 11.0mm iso100

Thanks Brian, didn't realise that I am still catching up with things after bit of a lay off
