But all too often it looks like this:

But where you can at least usually find something to take a picture of!

I love the UK, weather not withstanding, lol. When I visit though I'm usually in the north up near Manchester visiting my daughter and her husband.

    I'm near you twic!
We had a miraculously good summer but I'm afraid its downhill from now on. Perhaps a little autumn sun when the leaves turn gold.

    Welcome twic!

I went out this afternoon for the incredibly rare opportunity of an hour to "photo walk", alone, somewhere new and visually interesting.

And the rain was so hard, and so horizontal, that I didn't dare get my G3 out of its "all weather" bag the whole time. I needed three hands to hold the umbrella, and there was no shelter anywhere.

You gotta love Blighty (I do, really!)

I'm in Bristol, so after nearly thirty years here I'm pretty used to rain....

A weather proof OMD might have been more sensible, but not at three times the price of the G3.

    True fact.

I have an E-M5, which is weather-sealed, and its 12-50 mm lens, which is too. I barely ever use the 12-50 lens because it's not all that great, but perhaps the rain is an excuse to take it out. Then i'll have nothing to worry about except how to use a slow lens under dim light from a cloudy sky ...

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone!

Welcome! I've actually been to Finsbury Park. A friend was squatting in an old vicarage there along with other artsy types back in the early 90s. Good times.
