Going to Solar Heights

Discussion in 'Scenic, Architecture, and Travel' started by Robert Watcher, Aug 26, 2012.

  1. Over the last 2 years Canadian rural communities in an attempt to fight Wind Power Generators - - - have erected very large Solar Electric Panels in the middle of fields on many of the farms across the countyside. I believe government has regulated only one per farm - otherwise there would be several I presume. Here is an early morning catch:

That's quite lovely. I like the minimalism of it, and have always enjoyed the contrast between simple, natural settings and a single piece of technology like this - it's unusual, but interesting.

Nice shot, good composition but the colour really makes the shot work.

Agreed! It might even work as a B&W because it has such rich tones, but it'd be a shame to miss out on all that beautiful color!
