Pike Place is a haven for street photography, in my opinion. Everything is constantly in motion and lots of great moments present themselves.
The ferry to Bainbridge Island offers great cityscape views of the Seattle skyline from the water. Also, we really enjoyed the Bloedel Reserve on the island, although it may not be so picturesque in the fall if the weather has turned.
There are some lovely wilderness vistas south and west of Port Angeles on the 101. Also Port Angeles itself is a pretty town.
Seattle itself has a lot of culture and is full of stuff to do, so don't discount it if you're looking to spend a decent amount of time taking it all in. I haven't been to Vancouver but by all accounts it's a pretty terrific place, as long as you don't get the landscape spoiled by too many disarticulated feet!
