Just for fun and might be useful for people to see what their lens would look like on this mini body

Well done. Useful for me, been thinking of getting a pocket sidekick like the GM1.

Do you have a BCL 9mm? Would love to see that :)

Also Panasonic 20mm... probably similar enough to the 14mm.

    Finally, Samyang/Rokinon 7.5mm fisheye.

That is HOTNESS! Panasonic needs to cut you a royalty check because I think you just sold a GM1 for them

    Thanks for sharing.

The GM series with the BCL lenses are the only M43 combo's that I call pants pocketable. I use to have a GF3, but I use to wish that was smaller and lighter.

Personally, I find the GM1 + 12-32mm kit combo more functional. It's probably because I got the camera during the fall and have always worn a jacket since so it fits perfectly in the larger/deeper pockets.

My only concern with the GM1 is that it's a little TOO small. I'm mostly an aperture-priority shooter and I think I would really miss not having a control dial, even on something that tiny. The GM5 looks pretty much perfect, it's almost the same size just like 5mm taller I think, but adds EVF, control dial, better controls, etc... Only it's like twice the price, ugh. If I was going to spend $900 on another MFT camera I don't think it would be a GM5....

Lovely! Thanks for sharing. Looks like a perfect match. The 15mm posted earlier looks like a delicious combo too.

Obviously everyone has seen the P12-32 on the GM1, and the O45 is posted earlier in this thread, but I'll show them again, plus the P20 which hasn't been shown here yet.

Accessories are the Joby micro tripod, Franiec grip, and each has a step-down ring on the front for a little glass protection since I never use front caps.

I'm an Aperture Priority shooter and yes the controls on the GM1 aren't perfect, but I've found I'm getting used to them remarkably quickly, and using the touch screen to set aperture much more than I expected. Lack of EVF hasn't bothered me (but I live in the UK where bright sunshine isn't a big problem ;) ). I'd love a GM5, but liked the GM1 enough to pick up a second body almost immediately... Two bodies with lenses attached and a third lens still take up less room and weigh less than my D700 and one lens! I paid £200 for the second body (Mint with under 250 actuations) at that price the difference between the GM1 and GM5 was a no-brainer...

I want an evf put prefer having an onboard flash I think... If I need to add a flash attachment might as well go a little bigger and cheaper with the epm2

i hate all of you with silver ones!! only black available in Canada lol

From the sublime to the ridiculous - well after all those lovely combinations here's the Panasonic 100-300 on the GM1:

    combination.

To be honest I wasn't sure it was going to be a usable combination handheld, but it works surprisingly well. With the grip attached the point of balance is directly under the zoom ring extended or un-zoomed, so supporting the zoom with the left-hand at that point, right-hand on grip/shutter is quite comfortable to hold steady. I'm sure a tripod with collar would be better, but it's surprisingly good handheld, using a short neck-strap to brace. It might look aesthetically better on my black GM1 but I'm waiting on a matching black grip :)

GM5 just arrived today (yay!) and I paired it with the 38mm f/2.8 Pen F pancake for its first outing. Not the sharpest lens in the world, and the focusing ring is wretched fiddly, but it's certainly the smallest adapted lens I've ever used!

The Olympus OM 28-48mm f/4 isn't large, but it's heavy enough to warrant an add-on grip and hot shoe thumb rest; the space between the grip and the lens is admittedly a bit tight though!
