I was messing around yesterday and thought some of you guys might find this interesting. There a few things I noticed. The L fnction button on the 12-40mm lens does work properly on the GM1. Peaking works fine with the mf clutch although it is very different to the E-M1 implementation.

The 12-40 on the GM1 totally defeats the point of a small body! The 12-32 on EM-1 on the other hand greatly improves portability of the E-M1. :)

I just love the fact that we can do that combo...even though I would wanna grip my GM1 to try it :)

that's good to hear that some of the functions work between different brands.
What's the default function for the L button on the 12-40? I'm guessing it's not customisable on the GM1?

Also is there anyway to manual focus the 12-32 on the EM1?

It's focus stop, I'm not sure if it's customizable. I hope that it is. I actually think that the gm1 is an ideal 2nd body and it works great with the 12-40mm, yeah it's not that great ergonomic ally but you really can't beat the minuscule amount of space it takes up in your camera bag.

I just found out last night that you. Could MF with the 12-32 lens, I'll see if that is possible on the em1.
