EDIT 2: it's also a perfect lens for portrait photography! Probably true if you're related to the Moomins. Or really want to be.

Also kind-of amusing that the ad features it mounted on the Lumix camera and i'm pretty sure that grip is going to show up in the shot. It's _that_ wide.

Yup. Feet, fingers, plastic bags on the ground...
And this "perfect experience" must be that you don't need to focus at all... I also like that they spelled MEIEK wrong.

I bought some CF cards from the Chinese. In the ad they were labeled "Rerory Card". But the ones I got was "Memory Card"... And, when tested, actually worked flawlessly.

Even less need for an aperture ring. Leave it at f2.8 and you basically have a DoF of infinity.

NASA could use it for pictures of the moon. They would have plenty of atmosphere.

Tilted upwards on a tripod is probably the only way to keep fingers and toes out of the shot.

It says 220 on the barrel. Must be how many degrees the picture angle is.

EDIT: just now zoomed, and noted the ° next to 220.

I was looking at some old shots from my M4/3 Meike f:2.0/6.5 mm (190°) and noticed that same blue halo around some pictures.
Must be an atmospheric feature.

Problem is that I'm probably not able to find it if/when I don't want it. Spent some time the other day looking for my f:2/6.5 mm Meike.
No joy. But I found other interesting stuff that I wasn't looking for, though!

Bought a stack of big ass IKEA boxes w/lids. Lids cost extra. Next week I'm promised my kitchen will be finished. Then maybe I will get everything out on the floor and back, roughly sorted into the boxes. We're talking about most lenses and me Pentax gear here.

At least I'll have something to dance merrily around at X-mas time, worst case.

Just had a moment of katharsis.
