So I got the 35-100 to go with my GH3 and was dying to try this out. Sh1tty day for pictures but you get the idea. These are out of the camera and converter to jpeg from raw.

    Great lens. highly recommend.

PS: these are just test shots to show the lens. not my ability as a photographer :2thumbs:

Yes, a great combo. My standard travel kit for GH3 includes it and the 12-35. Both fine lenses. Reviews say overpriced, but coming from a Canon 7D with L lenses the prices seem fine to me -- and so does the performance (and especially the weight!)

How would you say it compares to the 14-140mm? Looks tack sharp so far.

Re "How would you say it compares to the 14-140mm?": I have both. The 12-35 is a pro-quality lens. The 14-140 is a good lens, but resolution degrades near the edges especially at 140 mm. There are some detailed reviews of each lens here, with data: Micro Four Thirds Lens Tests

But that's like comparing apples & oranges: The 14-140 is a one-lens solution and serves well in that role. I have the 12-35, 35-100 and 100-300. But I'm keeping the 14-140.

14-140 is also very good for video; it was designed with that in mind and kitted with the GH2 I purchased in 2012

everything what he said is true. Very Very sharp. Its on of the first things I noticed right away.

I got mine on ebay for $1100 shipped. Best price around. Next will be the 12-35. I tested it out this weekend and its just as nice.:drinks:
