I already have a hacked GH2; and love the video on it... Have people decided it's worth the upgrade?

Great question. I've got a hacked GH2 as well and decided it was wiser to invest in the 12-35mm F2.8 first instead of upgrading to the GH3.

When they've hacked the GH3 with Focus Peaking, then I'll make the jump. Either that or the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera...

dunno about video because I've not once used it, but I'm saving up for a GH-3 because of the weather sealing and wireless tethering.

Other than GAS, what specifically do you see in the GH3 that your GH2 doesn't address for you?

Hrmmmm.... I'm looking to upgrade from my EOS 300d and have been eyeing the GH3 for some time. Price is good but I still see $1299 on panny website. Do tell where the new price is!

I'm with John on this one - I just bought the 12-35mm lens and that has cashed me out of new gear for a while.

I'll be saving my coins for the new GH? that comes out with the sensor built around the Fuji X1 technology. It may be year or two, or never, but if it happens, it will be big step.

The 12-35, BTW, is quite the lens.

The $1100 is for employees. EPP is Employee Pricing Program or something, if I recall correctly.

Depending on how you are with buying from Canada, there are several vendors here that have it for $1199-. With the favorable exchange rate, it's more like $1090-.
