I don't think a GH3 image thread has been started yet so thought I'd kick one off.

Rain what rain? A walk to a local park shows it's turned into a temp lake GH3 and 12-35.

First Image with GH3

Here is one of my first test shots, trying to decide which lens to buy this was shot with the Panasonic 20mm 1.7, I want a lens that will do both video and still shots justice, the 12-35mm lens looks great but is a tad expensive but it looks like it is worth it.

Beautiful shots of NYC and other shots above! Great shots, been a Nikon fan for years but with the GH3 and OMD in my hand I am changing my tune. Adorama is going to give me some good coin for my Nikon so here is looking at new lenses for the GH3 and OMD.

I'd just like to say that I heavily post process most of my photos and I realize some people may not have a taste for it but I'd still like to share some of my GH3 shots. These are all taken with the 7-14mm.

Single exposure: (Processed in Lightroom 4.3 and onOne Perfect Effects)

7 Exposure: (Processed in LR 4.3 and could have used 1 exposure which I noticed after the fact)

ToxMox: Photo process or not, flipping Amazing shots! I just got my GH3 two days ago waiting for my 12-35 lens. What process did you use on these CS? Also what lenses?

Thanks :) What do you mean by CS? All of the above photos were shot with the Panasonic Lumix G Vario 7-14mm f/4.0 ASPH. Lens.

You said post process, so what I thought you meant you altered the pictures by using a software program. CS = Adobe Photoshop

Gotcha.
Most of the editing/enhancing is done in Lightroom and used Photoshop only on one of the photos to fix ghosted tree branches from the Merge to 32bit plugin. The top image is Lightroom then onOne Perfect effects. I'm happy to answer specific questions about the shots if you have them :)

No you answered them already, I am going to be upgrading my computer to a newer iMac and I have CS and Aperture and Light Room. The problem is I am using a much slower computer because my trusty iMac failed which is a rarity for me, but Apple was kind enough to give me a in store credit so now I am using a Mac Mini with 16 gigs of ram and a Apple Display. I need a quad core. Thanks for the cool tips.

I am a documentary video guy that got into M43s with a DMCGF3. Pre-ordered a GH3 December 19 and am waiting patiently. I would like to hear from veteran M43 folks to get some idea of what to expect when my GH3 finally arrives. Thanks!

You will find it shoots superb on video and it does so compared to some higher end pro-consumer camcorders I have shot with. It shoots well in low light, but I have only had it for a week. Here is just another example of good stills as well! You might want to call around as Kenmore Camera in California had some in stock and I was waiting as you were and canceled my order when I found out they had them. Now I am testing out different lenses and the two higher end lenses by Panasonic 12-35mm and 35-100mm are a must have because the pictures and stills look excellent so far with these lenses. Right now I only own the 12-35mm, but when compared to comparable DSLRs lenses they are much less expensive.
