It surprised me that the exposure and reading of the sensor take place at the same time. (that is how I understand the rolling shutter effect ontstaat)
It would seem more logical to freeze the image after exposure and read this?
Maybe someone can explain why it is as it is? And why P&S cameras - which I understand have electronic shutters as well - can use a flash?
Thanks for posting this article. I found it interesting since I just purchased the G5 which also had the electronic shutter.
